I like weekly (as opposed to daily) calendars since I like to leave mine out on my desk so I can see what meetings, appointments, etc. I have coming up. For probably about twelve years, I used the Franklin Covey system, but the separate three-ring binder was so bulky that it made it inconvenient to fit it in a purse, and the refills were very expensive. I decided to move to this calendar a few years ago, and have been extremely pleased. In fact, this is my fourth Orange Circle calendar, and I love it!The dates run from August 2015 through December 2016 on this one, which is great for academic-year planning for those of us who teach. It does make the calendar a bit heavy and thick to have so many months included, but with my last calendar, I ended up tearing out a previous semester once it was finished to remove some bulk. The overall size of this is great, though, since it is easy to toss in not only a work tote, but also a purse.
The daily columns are large enough to write in, and there are plenty of pages in the back to keep track of extra information.
To make it even easier to use, I bought some month + office tabs (these ones: Girl Of All Work LLC Peel and Stick Tabs (GWO713a)) that I adhered to the pages so that I can quickly turn to a month or a section of the planner.
I keep my pen (which has a clip on it) inside the coil binding, and it stays perfectly, without falling out.
The big label on the front is a sticker, and it peels right off, without leaving any residue. Underneath it is a pocket, where you can keep receipts, post-its, etc.
The big change this year is that the monthly pages now change color, so you can more easily see that you're in a new month. The colors also coordinate with the monthly calendar at the very beginning of the journal.
My reason for four stars this year instead of five is that they changed the quality of the paper and the reminder stickers. I just finished setting up my calendar for this coming school year, and the ink I used (which is the same kind of pen I always use) pressed through this. I compared it to last year's calendar, and this year's paper is much thinner and rougher. Also, the reminder stickers this year are awful. The paper on these is also really thin, and they are not nicely perforated. I had to cut them out in order to use them, which was a real pain.
Overall, though, I adore this planner! I hope that Orange Circle brings back the nicer paper next year.

Orange Circle Studio 17Month 2016 Do It All Planner Secret Garden Orange Circle Studios 9781622267071 Books Reviews
I bought this planner last year and I loved it so much I bought it again this year. I like the elastic band that keeps the week and I use a paperclip to keep the month. Big enough to hold coupons, 8x11 sheets of paper folded in half...I keep everything in this planner!!
I love the little pocket in the front - I keep sheets of stickers in mine. The elastic band is extremely helpful too. And the overall design of the interior pages is lovely. Unfortunately, the 300 stickers it comes with are mostly irrelevant to my lifestyle (they're things like girls' nights, date nights, hair & manicure appointments, shopping trips, and fundraisers) and I wish I had known that before making my purchase. The paper is fairly thin, too, which means it can only handle ballpoint pen ink; gel pens bleed right through to the other side of the page. And unfortunately because of its size, the boxes for writing in are extremely narrow. I have pretty small handwriting and even I could only fit one or two words per line.
I do love this planner and I do use it. But I'm afraid I won't be buying it again next year.
This planner has a lot going for it in my opinion The pocket on the front cover and slots in the back are handy. I love that there are both monthly and weekly calendars. I especially like that the weekly calendars have vertical columns, so I can organize by time of day. They aren't labeled as such, though, so it can be broken up however you want. I like the subtle colors that change each month. The quote at the top of each week is a nice touch. It's a nice size. The bad news is that the paper is so thin that ink bleeds through. If this was corrected, I'd give it 5 stars. I'd also like to see the cover made out of something a little more heavy-duty. The stickers should be in the back instead of the front, so you don't need to flip past them each time you open the planner, but that is a minor quibble. More note pages (rather than the tear-out to-do/shopping lists) would also be appreciated.
This is a very decent planner that more deserves 3.5 stars. The spirals aren't terribly bothersome for a lefty, which was a nice surprise seeing how large they are. The front cover has a little pocket that I use to keep a couple sheets of stickers. The elastic band holds the planner shut very nicely. I don't really like the way the weekly view has the days split using multiple lines; I thought this would be useful at first, but it ended up just cutting up my space too inconveniently. I'd rather draw lines myself to split up the day. It does have a very nice design overall, with a cute inspirational quote for ever week. There are a decent amount of blank note pages in the back for jotting things down when you need and a few pages of thirds that are perforated to use as a shopping list or to-do list. There are 3 slots for business cards on the back cover which actually holds cards nicely--I was worried they'd fall out really easily. The stickers that came with the planner were really cute but upset me that they were not cut well, so you ended up ripping the corners off of most of the stickers and ruining a lot of them. They were really adorable, though, so if they fix that issue, they'd be perfect. I find myself not using the monthly pages in here and actually got a separate monthly planner because the boxes are so small that you can't really do much but write birthdays and holidays. They work just fine for seeing what date falls on what day, but not useful for getting a monthly overview of your schedule. Overall, a nice planner, but probably will get a different one for next year.
